Physical health refers to all aspect of our well being that can be objectively examined or investigated using currently known test parameters. The human body in medical terms is subdivided either by regions based on anatomy e.g head and neck, chest or thorax etc; or by function (physiology) such as the nervous system, cardiovascular system, respiratory etc.
Medicine has evolved and physical and psychological medicine are closely intertwined. There is evidence that shows what is often assessed as psychiatric disorders is a result of physiological changes in brain neurochemistry.
